{Thanksgiving 2008}

L to R - Mr T, Mr E, Little Mr, & Mr A
Let me tell you-I love to cook for those that I love. So to be able to have Thanksgiving at our home WITH our family too was such a blessing to me. I love having family near to be with. Not only on Thanksgiving or any of the holidays....but on a daily regular basis. I love it. I am so greatful to be back home in Washington. To have our families so close to us, and to be able to let our children know them and have relationships with them. This was a hard year...I'm not going to go into details....but those of you that know me well enough know that I've had a hard time. I was especially thankfull that my Oma was here with us. I am very very thankful for the relationship that I have with her and that she has with our children...that my children get to know and enjoy her. That means a lot to me....that is one of the main reasons that we wanted to come home. I have a lot to be thankful this year. :-) And I'm glad that I'm able to enjoy that. :-) Hope ya'll had a great Thanksgiving too.
We had a very nice full house.....although the boys were disapointed that there weren't any other kids to play with. They did great though and were very helpful. We had Oma-ma, Tante Amalia, Opa & Oma, Uncle Michael & Auntie Messa, and then all of us. It was great. :-)

{Halloween 2008}
From Left to Right: Mr E, Mr T, Little Mr, & Mr A
This year we walked around about half of our neighborhood....since the houses are so close together we felt that this would yield enough candy for them......BOY were we right. :-) We didn't even have Little Mr do his own trick-or-treating which we've have usually done in the past(let the younger one get candy too) The Mr is home this year, so it was especially nice for me to have him here getting the kids ready to go out and keeping an eye on them while they were trick-or-treating. We drove over to Oma & Opa's to let the kids trick-or-treat at their house, and then we also drove over to Oma-ma's to show her the boys. It is so nice being home and this close to family to be able to do that. Although I have to say that I am still not used to the WA weather again yet. I forgot how cold and dark it is here for halloween....hopefully we'll be here next year, and I'll remember then. :-)

{BoosterSeat for Little Mr}

This is Little Mr playing in his new booster seat from his Great Tante. :-) It folds up so that we can bring it with us when we go somewhere to eat, and it has this neat tray with toys that just clips into the eating tray. I LOVE IT! :-) He is eating a lot more solid foods now that he is sitting at the table with us. And it's MUCH easier for me to eat my food too since I'm not holding onto him! Don't know if that's a good thing or not yet.....lol. :-)
Thank you Tante Amalia! :-)

{Mr A's School Picture}
Yes indeed, we got Mr A's school pictures today! :-) I can tell that his 'spiky' hair do did not last until his pictures were taken. And I'm quite suprised about that since we used his dad's hair product to help them stay that day. Oh well, what do ya do when kids play. :-) And for my future reference I'll have to remember to ask my children to take off their coats for their pictures. lol I honestly thought that SOMEONE would have asked him to take if off...it's not like I can be there with them to do. It is frustrating to me that I am paying A LOT of money for these pictures and that someone is not looking for the best picture of my child. So, I'm just going to smile and know that this is Mr A....looking darn cute in his first grade picture. :-)
Hope ya'll are enjoying that I'm trying to update a little more often. :-)

{Little Mr}
I thought this might help...here's some recent pics so that ya'll can see how big Little Mr is getting. He's 7 months now. :-) I might do one for each of the boys...I don't know yet. I do know that I'm done for the night, and some of these pics are really cute. :-) It's gets a few pics in here real quick. :-)

{Updating in Progress...}
Okay, so I have been out of the loop lately....
I really want to be able to post things that have happened during our move and this summer...so as I have time and come across pictures I will be back dating....I know not fare, but it's better than not having them on here, and I can't stand for things to be out of order. :-) So that's that....please just bare with me as I get these things done. I am basically unpacking the house myself with not much help from the other five members...so I don't have too too much time.
Much Loves though to all of youse that are willing to wait it out for pics and information. :-)

{Mr E's School Picture}
We got Mr E's school pictures back today. Not too sure why we didn't get Mr A's, but I'll post that one when we get it. For now, we are enjoying how much Mr E has grown and how handsome he is getting to be. :-)

{Mr A's 6th Birthday}
We had a small gathering on Mr A's birthday. We had cupcakes with super heros on them... Mr A picked them out (and I tried so hard for him to pick white cake so that The Mr would eat some with us :-). He LOVES the star wars card that he got from Oma and Opa. It's one of the ones that play music. :-) We're going to be having a BBQ with friends and family the next weekend that The Mr doesn't have to work.

{Our road trip is FINALLY over}
Well, we all made it here safe and sound. Each of us in one piece.....thankfully. :-)
Because of the time that we would have gotten there we opted not to go to Nauvoo, IL....we drove through the night and got to Salt Lake City area late July 3rd. We enjoyed the day with our brother Nicky and his really great girlfriend......then went on to visit with some friends of ours, the Powers. We left Mr E with them for a couple days as we went on to Butte, MT where the boys and I met The Mr's grandma from his father's side, for the first time.....and it had also been about 10 years since The Mr had seen his grandma and grandpa. It was really great being able to meet some more family. And we had a nice relaxing visit with them for a few days. Then it was on to Spokane, WA to visit with family there. We actually have quite a bit of family there and were able to see most of them, and even squeeze some wonderful friends in there too. :-) We stayed the night in Moses Lake, WA.....we missed some, but we're able to see others and hang out with them for a bit. This morning we headed out and made it to Puyallup, WA where we are now staying with my parents while we find a house. Wish us luck! :-)

{*sings*... On the Road Again, I just can't wait to get on the road again...}
Just wanted to let ya'll know that we are finally on the road. We are going to be making our way across the United States to Puyallup over the next week, stopping along the way to visit friends and family.
Our travels will take us from Fort Bragg, NC to Nauvoo, Ill. From there we will be heading to the Salt Lake City area and then on to Butte, MT. From Butte we will be heading across Idaho into Eastern Washington making stops in Spokane and Moses Lake. Finally we will make our way home to Puyallup.
If you are on our scheduled list of stops, we look forward to seeing you soon. If you are not, we are sorry we couldn't make it to everyone this time. Hopefully we will see ya'll eventually as things settle down.
As time and computer opportunities allow I will try and keep you updated!
